In the late 1960s, sailing became a very popular sport and hobby. Around this time, Tretorn launched its classic sailing collection: Wings, which quickly gained popularity and could be seen all over the Swedish archipelago. Since then, Tretorn's Wings family has expanded and today they are classic and well-known silhouettes in the range.

For spring 2024, a new children's collection is being released, Kids Print, inspired by our heritage and the sailing culture of the 1960s. The collection consists of three products: a pair of boots, a jacket, and a bag, all adorned with the same print. The print consists of small triangles symbolizing sails and features Tretorn's classic colors blue and yellow, along with a bright red color. The colors of the products match perfectly with our classic rain pants in yellow or blue.

Yellow and blue have been part of Tretorn's heritage since the 1960s when the brand launched its iconic Wings boots, which were then made in yellow and blue. These colors have since been incorporated into several products, notably within the Wings family where they can be seen on items such as the Wings Rainjacket. Over the years, the colors have become classic Tretorn colors and are found throughout much of our product range.

The yellow and blue colors also have a nice connection to the Swedish flag. Tretorn was founded in Helsingborg, Sweden, in 1891, and we are proud that even today, over 130 years later, we still design our products in Helsingborg.
